Delivery

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SELECTED ADEQUATE SHIPPING FOR YOUR PURCHASE.
First Class post does not insure your item against loss or damage while in transit. We recommend Recorded Delivery (not insured but trackable)for purchases over £15, and Special Delivery/International Insured for purchases over £30.
We aim to despatch purchases within 5 working days, but this may take longer if your item is out of stock or during busy periods

Descriptions and Images

We try to describe articles for sale as accurately as possible with images and measurements; we want you to be content with your purchase! Please email us for more details you need.
PLEASE NOTE THAT IMAGES OF SMALL ITEMS ARE LARGER THAN THE ACTUAL ITEM YOU WILL RECIEVE. We make the pictures larger so that you can see the detail.

Refund Policy

We offer a no-quibble guarantee, whereby we will give a full refund on the original purchase price if an item is returned (for whatever reason) in perfect, unworn condition within 14 days (21 days International).

We do not refund the initial postal costs unless the item is faulty.
We understand that many of the larger mail order companies do refund initial postage costs, but this is a gesture of goodwill, not a legal requirement. As a small company, we could not do this without increasing our prices considerably.

Please note that we do not give a full refund on body Jewellery or other Jewellery designed to be retained inside the body (e.g. earrings), for reasons of hygiene. We will give a partial refund on these items, and a full refund if the item is faulty. This is in accordance with the UK Sale Of Goods Act (1979) as amended in 1994.

Many of our gold items carry a 1 year guarantee against manufacturing defects. This will be stated on the product page, and also on your dispatch note. Please keep it for future reference.

If goods are returned because they are faulty, your shipping costs will be refunded.

NOTE: some customers who have returned items to us have sent back very expensive jewellery by first class mail! For your own protection, please use appropriate postal methods when you return items. Neither First Class mail or Recorded Delivery gives you compensation on jewellery items if that item is lost or broken in the post. Taj Arts cannot be held responsible for items lost by postal services, and will not be able to refund your purchase unless it is received by us.

Body Jewellery

All our surgical steel navel bars conform to the requirements of the 94/27/EC Nickel Directive. Only use surgical steel, acrylic and 9k gold for a healed piercing, NOT for an initial or unhealed piercing. For this you should use titanium.
Taj Arts is not responsible for any injury caused by the inappropriate use of body jewellery. If in doubt, we reccomment that you seek the expert advice of your piercing studio.

Shipping

Proof of posting is available for all items we dispatch. We use tracking numbers to trace packages wherever possible. All items are sent by Royal Mail postal services - this is the only method at the moment which is affordable to you and us.

Payments & Ownership of Goods

All goods remain the property of Taj Arts until full and final payment has been received.We are not responsible for any cash you send to us which is lost in the post! If you must send cash, please send by Registered Post.

Prices

All goods on this site are prices in UK Pounds. All prices are subject to change at short notice due to the nature of rare metal prices. If you are in a foreign country, your card will be charged by your bank in your local currency at exchange rates applicable at the time of purchase. The exchange rate is set by your card provider.

If we appear to be overpriced on any item, please tell us! We try to keep prices as low as we can but cannot be aware of all competitors prices. We will endeavour to beat other sellers prices where possible; please let us know where you saw the price advertised.
